Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors exercises all powers and authority of the NSHRF and is responsible for the operation and management of the Foundation. (PDF Attachment) The Board comprises members from health agencies, health charities, health professional bodies, the health research community, and the public.

Applications for positions on the Board of Directors (Non-Adjudicative Board) may be submitted at any time.

Policy Governance

The Board of Directors of the NSHRF adopted the Carver Model of Policy Governance as its Governance Model. The Four Philosophical Foundations of Policy Governance are accountability, servant-leadership, clarity of group values, and empowerment.
