Partnerships for Health System Improvements

Information Session
April 20, 2010

The Partnerships for Health System Improvement (PHSI) (PDF Attachment) program is one of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research’s (CIHR) flagship programs and is unique for its focus on applied, policy-relevant research deemed high priority by decision makers. The program funds teams of decision makers and researchers to conduct applied health services and systems research projects up to three years in length.

The PHSI program encouraged participants to learn about the increase in CIHR funding, expanded areas of eligible research, and availability of new partnership development funds. Chris McCutcheon and Meg McMahon from CIHR were available to answer questions about the PHSI program.

Decision makers and researchers interested in working together on applied and policy-relevant health services and systems research were encouraged to attend.
