The Northwood Research Agenda

Description

The workshop focused on research in the continuing care sector. The new model for conducting research in the Northwood community was discussed as well as research priorities for Northwood. This workshop sought to generate research activity in the Northwood priority areas as well as on other key areas of aging research. The workshop’s goal was to generate research activity related to Northwood's research priorities and identify other priority areas for collaboration and partnership development province-wide.

The workshop:

1. Introduced to the Northwood community, its research process and focus areas.
2. Explored how Northwood's research agenda can support the Department of Health, Continuing Care Branch strategic direction.
3. Explored opportunities for applied research initiatives and collaboration.
