Policy Governance

The Four Philosophical Foundations of Policy Governance are accountability, servant-leadership, clarity of group values, and empowerment. ENDS Policies Monitoring Report

NSHRF's ENDS Policies (E, E1-E4) direct the objectives of all NSHRF activities, programs and funding. These policies state that NSHRF is working towards improving the health and well-being of Nova Scotians through the creation and application of evidence towards health-related decisions. The ENDS are reviewed annually through a monitoring report that demonstrates how the work of NSHRF is fulfilling the ENDS Policies.

In 2015, the Board of Directors agreed that in the interest of transparency and accountability, they would share the annual ENDS Policies Monitoring Report on the NSHRF website.

ENDS Policies E, E1-E4 Monitoring Reports:

Monitoring Report July 2017
Monitoring Report June 2016
